Does your workplace go beyond traditional health and safety metrics? COR™ and ISO 45001 require workplaces to measure and monitor their occupational health and safety performance. Many organizations employ both leading and lagging indicators to do this. Lagging indicators, in particular, offer a retrospective glimpse into past injuries, illnesses and other health and safety outcomes. We’re curious: Which lagging indicators does your workplace rely on the most? #COR #ISO45001 #HealthAndSafety #Performance #OHSMS

🕊️ Imagine this: You are one of the 340,000 workers who suffered a serious injury at work in 2022. How would this change your life, your family’s lives, and those of your coworkers? Behind these impacted lives are also approximately 1,000 Canadians who didn’t make it home. As we approach this Sunday’s National Day of Mourning, we reflect on these losses and unite in our commitment to workplace health and safety. This solemn day serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of health and safety in our workplaces. It is a time to commemorate those who have lost their lives or have been injured due to work-related incidents and hazards, and to reaffirm our commitment to preventing these tragedies. At WorkBright, health and safety aren’t just part of our business—they define it. We are committed to empowering workplaces to create environments where health and safety is ingrained in every process and every decision. As we lead up to April 28, we urge every workplace to commit to the following this year: 🔴 Identify hazards in your environment. 🔵 Implement measures and procedures to protect all workers. 🔴 Provide comprehensive training on these hazards and procedures. 🔵 Monitor the effectiveness of these measures and adjust as necessary. 🔴 Repeat these steps regularly to continuously improve health and safety in your workplace. 🔗 Together, we can create workplaces where every worker is protected, thrives at work, and can return home safely every day. #DayOfMourning #Workplace #HealthAndSafety #Injury #Disease
